UNIQUES SACCO, formerly known as Rumphi Teachers SACCO Services Ltd., began its journey in June 1993 as a study club with 100 dedicated government teachers in Rumphi District. United by a common vision to improve their economic and social wellbeing, these educators pooled their resources and knowledge to create something greater than themselves.
Officially registered on May 3, 1994 under the Cooperative Act of 1998, we have grown from those humble beginnings into a trusted financial cooperative serving payroll-based members across Malawi. Our foundation in education means we understand the value of knowledge, planning, and building for the future.
Today, we continue to honor our cooperative roots while serving payroll-based members with the same commitment to member success that inspired our founders over 30 years ago.
